
Robyn began her legal career working for over 12 years as support staff in legal offices in Sudbury, Ontario. After representing herself as an applicant before the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, she decided to return to school as a mature student and become a lawyer. She graduated from the University of Ottawa English Common Law program, cum laude. During her degree, she participated in many moot and negotiation competitions, was the recipient of a prestigious fellowship award, and completed two-degree options by focusing her coursework on dispute resolution and social justice. She articled at an Ottawa/Toronto civil litigation firm while also working on family and business law matters.
Robyn is committed to using her previous work experience, formal education, and lived experience as an applicant in the justice system to advance the rights of her clients. She is a tireless advocate who understands firsthand the emotional, physical, and financial cost of litigation. She is focused on achieving the best result for her clients as cost-effectively as possible, while continuously promoting access to justice through her legal aid and pro-bono work.
